The Lord says "behold I stand at the door and knock, those that answer I will come in and dine with them. How incredible is that that the Creator of all things would ask us if He can come in and fellowship with us. He has all power and could make us do anything, but that's not what God is all about. He won't make us follow Him, but He asks us to because He loves us and lays a plan out for each of us. That plan involves eternal life and rewards for our obedience. God's plan is better than anything we could come up with.
